Contending With Joel Osteen Update

The Joel Osteen trial continues... This is the only statement that we gave to the media this past Monday:

"We truly count it an honor this day to be on this side of things... For we believe this is none other than the side of our Lord Jesus Christ". Hallelujah!

The video below is courthouse preaching from the initial court date, may the Biblical Christ be magnified!

A Question For My Hecklers

The False Gospel of the world begets worldliness, worldly wisdom, and a corrupt, worldly understanding of love all cloaked in a garment branded "Christian". Those who put on the False Jesus sport themselves without godly fear, contrition of heart, and a broken spirit (Psa. 51). Such persons, because of their false understanding of the Gospel and alienation from it's power that makes men into new creatures (2Cor. 5:17) do despise Heaven's Holiness, Wisdom, and Love, which can only be found  in and walked in through a Person - the Biblical Christ who is the Word of God. Without True Holiness, Wisdom, and Love, one can only admire Christ, study Christ, and imitate Christ but it is written, "he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God" (Rom. 2:28-29).

The 21st century Mammon Machine has exceedingly excelled at producing and propagating "another jesus" (2Cor. 11:4), heaping upon the world a mass of confusion and hypocrisy. The witness of this false Christ has been preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations but the end has not come (Mat. 24:14) and the world is more polluted and perverted with the uncleaness of sin now than ever before. The spiritual darkness now mirrors the apostasy of the 1st century, where the fundamental religious authority of that day was so utterly blinded by their traditions that they crucified the Prince of glory and thought they were doing God a favor! These zealous, but lost people had faith,  but not "the faith of Jesus Christ" (Gal. 2:16) and "when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth" (Luk. 18:8)?

"The good man is perished out of the earth; and there is none upright among men" (Mic. 7:2)...

To be filled with the Spirit is to be a good man (Eph. 5:9). To be a good man is to "walk in love" (Eph. 5:2). This love is a redeeming love. When this love is shed abroad in the heart by God, the "good man" cannot be at ease while an entire generation is being swallowed up in the darkness of hell's midnight. I use quotations to proclaim "good man" because there is only One that is good, and that is the Biblical Christ. But those that are in Christ will verily be a "light in the Lord" (Eph. 5:8), "having no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them" (Eph. 5:11). To do such in Christ Jesus is to follow Jesus with child-like humility (Eph. 5:1), is to "walk in love" (Eph. 5:2) and is "redeeming the time, because the days are evil" (Eph. 5:16). Such faith does beget a white-hot circumspection that will puncture pillows of indifference and will burst the foolishness of lightness and vanity (Eph. 5:15), seeing that "the wrath of God [cometh] upon the children of disobedience" (Eph. 5:6). To walk in this Light and Love is to make manifest the sin and shame of the sleeping and the dead, whereby Christ in Christians "shall give thee light" (Eph. 5:12-14), which is to have the invisible rays of His countenance shinning upon them that are in darkness to the awakening to righteousness. To those who are dislocated or have never been ingrafted into the Person who is "goodness and righteousness and truth" (Eph. 5:9) will condemn the Light of the world as darkness. "Let no man deceive you with vain ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is" (Eph. 5:6,17 and see also Mat. 25:1-13).

True Christians who have put off their first humility have forgotten that the cross put to death every disagreement they had in their hearts to come under the Lordship of Christ that they might bear fruit by the True Vine and not their own zeal which is not according to the reality of abiding in the Master. "He that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure"... (2Pet. 2:9,10).

Whether one is backslidden or falsely converted, both persons, because of their alienation from the Person who is Life and Love do commit service for the devil and the activity of the dead. Especially when 21st century Cains are confronted with the righteousness of 21st century Abels, "for this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous" (1Jon. 3:11-12). Such righteousness reflecting upon the darkness of religious hypocrisy will bring to the surface the depravity of Cain that lieth in every man, filling the earth with such corruptions: "false accusers, incontinent (they can't control themselves), fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof..." (2Tim. 3:3-5), "but as many as received Him", that is to receive His absolute rule and reign over every facet of your life that the Living Lord is touching. I am not speaking of cleaning yourself up and then coming to Christ, but an absolute surrender to every idol that would keep you from entering into His discipleship by His voice followed (Heb. 5:9). I speak of offering God the "acceptable sacrifice" (Psa. 51:16-19), "to them gave He power" - the regenerating powers from the world to come ingratiating your soul to love and obey Him from a new heart instead of a stony heart and carnal mind, moral obligation, fascination with the Historical Christ who entertains the minds of men's religious intellect, making the preaching of the cross "of none effect" (1Cor. 1:17).

Students of God's Word that are backslidden or unconverted are content with this Historical Christ because the manner in which they seek God does not confront them of their sins in light of His Holiness. God seeks to purge His people that they might bear fruit, but if His people refuse and rebel, sanctification ceases, and so does the life of God in the soul of man (Jon. 15:1-6). God seeks to put away the idolatry of false converts and crucify them, but if they refuse and rebel they "abideth alone" (Jon. 12:24). Such students of scripture seek the Lord on a intellectual level, but God "desirest Truth in the inward parts" (Psa. 51:6), He desires to deal with the heart of men, that they may have His heart and not their own. This "quite time" check-list "Christianity", does not lead anyone to a broken and contrite spirit, to the Lordship of Christ - the knowledge of God that saves, but rather it is a knowledge that runs down the line of a formalism that perverts men, puffing them up with pride and an inability to be reproved (Psa. 18:26), fortifying the walls of their conceit to the clouds with their own righteousness, procuring unto themselves the tragedy of "ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2Tim. 3:7).

"The knowledge of the truth" is experiential knowledge of what it is to be vitally joined to the Savior by way of a broken and contrite spirit (Psa. 51). This vital union with God starts by a personal crucifixion "with Him" (Gal. 2:20), yea, a Holy Ghost revelation of your utter depravity in light of the Holiness of God in which God's execution device, the cross (your crucifixion upon it), for would be disciples, becomes good news to you (Rom. 6:3-10), amen, men hating their lives (Jon. 12:25), because God hates their life (Psa. 5:5, 7:11, 11:5). Men hating their life because the Spirit of God quickens the solemn truth that their heart, mind, and soul is covered in a top-to-bottom depravity - "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death" (Rom. 7:24)? Such do heed the call to "strive to enter in at the strait gate" (Luk. 13:24).

God forbid I ever forget the great agony of soul when the presence of God did cause me to realize that I was problem. It wasn't that I had sinned and done horrible things. It was that I was a monster of iniquity, a brute beast who could not cease from loving the world (1Jon. 2.16), "but God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature" (Gal. 6:14-15). When people are graced with such mercy, they realize that if they are going to be saved, they must die. "Are there be few that be saved" (Luk. 13:23)?

"Many will seek to enter in, and shall not be able" (Luk. 13:24).

Many have sought to enter into the Work and Person of Jesus Christ but their pride does keep them from entering in. These wicked "Jesus" movies always depict crucified persons with clothing on. Dear reader, in reality, this was not so. People were crucified naked! And if you want Christ, you must lose your all your rights, all your reputation, yea all that you are and have crucified on a cross. Disasters, imprisonments, scorn, slander, pain, poverty, persecutions, whole-sale abandonment from false and backslidden brethren, being the off-scouring and refuse of society, the disciple is not above his Master, the sufferings that fell upon Christ will fall upon those that truly deny themselves and follow Him and whoso humbleth himself under the mighty Hand of God will be exalted upon the cross to die, going without the camp, bearing His reproach. No cross, no conversion, no cross, no Christ, there is only one way, one exit from this evil present world - salvation through a cross! Few are saved because few are made willing to be humiliated, broken, and crucified, which is the desire of the Master towards every seeking sinner and wayward sain. God receives broken men. By His grace and His faith He does gift them with a revelatory resolve to crucify the rest of their days because they had an eye/ear experience of beholding "the revelation of Jesus Christ" (Gal. 1:12), with the eyes and ears of their soul, which did not come to them by dead men preaching dead words about a Living Christ but "God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2Cor. 4:6).

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (Jon. 1:12).

Jesus Christ is alive, He lives in His people. Are you alive? His people, if they are indeed taught by Him, will, by nature and not by running or willing, walk even as He walked. When Christ began His earthly ministry, it was so lovingly judgmental, that He was on the brink of being murdered constantly for 3 years straight, and did end up being crucified by the people He came to save BECAUSE OF SLANDER. The old-time hypocrites long murdered Him in their hearts before they murdered Him on the Cross... Dear Christianity of the world, have I become your enemy because I tell you the Truth in Love for your soul?

The Jesus of the Bible meant business (Lk 4:14-30). He did not try to redeem the fallen “Christianity” of His day, rather, He showed up at their “churches” as a special, uninvited guest and would preach the Word, “And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong” (Lk 4:28,29). The irresistible grace of the Father would draw ones like “Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews” (Jn 3:1), a man of religious authority who didn't even know what it meant to be born again because of the gross apostasy of the day (Jn 3:9), did follow Jesus in The Way, The Truth, that leads to a cross of like-kind and eternal life. Do you really want to be like the Biblical Christ? Many profess that they do but by their works they deny Him.

“Do you think Jesus died for this dirty, rotten system we call Christianity? Not on your life!”

-Leonard Ravenhill

If you are indeed conforming yourself to the Image of the Son of God, you will be “despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief” (Isa. 53:3). Most everybody loves Jesus until He reproves their sins (Jon. Ch. 8). Christians in Christ are the sin-repelling, sin-reproving light of the world (Jn 3:19-21). They are enemies of darkness, a bright light in the night warning the wicked with the weight of eternity, wrath, and love upon their upon their shoulders. They do carry the burden for souls with a razor-sharp circumspection, knowing no man after the flesh and would rather swallow a knife than stop witnessing. The love of Christ constrains them and the terror of the Lord persuades them to fulfill a ministry of reconciliation to a proud and self-confident people spotted by a world that will soon be scorched with heaven's flames of fury. These ever decreasing nobodies do eat upon the locust and honey of godly sorrow, weeping in this wilderness of woe, exceedingly vexed at the defamation of His Person and Name, and are preparing the way of His 2nd coming.

In a world that hates being held accountable to saving truth's that are consistent with Biblical Salvation (initial and present-progressive), do you really expect to be untouched by the apex of lawlessness, cold-heartedness, and iniquity abounding of this omega generation which is arguably on the cusp of the revealing of that man of sin, the devil incarnate (2Th. 2)? If the darkness and deception of the 1st century hated the Biblical Christ, what do you think they will do to you if you walk in the Biblical Christ by His relentless Love to a society who has been programmed to receive the anti-Christ as a good thing!? The apostasy of the 21st century is prophesied to be unprecedented, and must needs be so that the world will be ripe enough to justify the anti-Christ and to condemn the truest witness of Christ, which would be a Biblical Lampstand under the Lordship of Christ, "a glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Eph. 5:27) meet to receive the latter rain (Acts 2:16-21, 2Cor. 6:14-7:1), whereby the whole world will be turned upside again by the faith of Christians in Christ in the purpose of His glory, by His own merit.

Please read Matthew Chapter 23? Are you ashamed of this Love, this Christ and His Words?

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels" (Mar. 8:38).

But you may say, "I don't need to walk in the Christ of Matthew Chapter 23", He already did it for me. Dear reader, "glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish" (Jas. 3:14-15). Scripture says, "He that saith (your profession) he abideth in him (that is savingly joined to Him) ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked" (1Jon. 2:6).

When one is graced by "the faith of the Son of God (Gal 2:20)", grace will work and will in them the Living Works of the Jesus Christ who is alive today, who lives in His people, who has not and does not change (Heb. 13:8) and it is written, "The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household" (Matt. 10:24-25)?

How's your persecution going, or are you one of those who are persecuting Christ in Christians? If you're not persecuted, you do not live godly. If you do not live godly, you should doubt your profession as a son or daughter in Christ.

"Yea, and all that will live godly IN Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution" (2Tim. 3:12).

I am not talking about the kind of persecution that is because of redemptive noises that are towards sinners and backslidden saints that are a result of embracing a self-preserving, cross-less worldly wise understanding of redeeming love. Neither do I mean the heartless and abominable Westboro Baptist-esque evangelism or any other kind of vehement emotional outburst that are born of the flesh and fueled by a love for the praise of men.

I speak of righteousness, burdens born of God which result in feeling the heart of God - great sobriety of soul concerning eternal matters, tears, heaviness, soul-travail, prevailing prayers and to what end? Oh that Christ would glorify Himself through broken men that stand up in the Person of Christ and declare the Word of the Lord to a rebellious generation who love their sin and shame, who hold the hypocrite's shield of unbelief with high-minded steadfastness, but blessed be that Treasure, that Excellency in earthen vessels - "Charity never faileth" (1Cor. 13:8)!

When God sends His ambassadors from the Kingdom of His Dear Son to reconcile them to the Light, they declare the King's terms of peace, yea even the very escape from the wrath to come which is none other than utter submission to His Lordship. It is an exiting of this present world through a Cross, your very own personal crucifixion “with Him” (Rom. 6:3-10). The the false converts of false Christianity will scorn and call you a “Legalist” and think they love God all the while they have “friendship with the world” (Jm 4:4), love it (1Jn 2:15), and are conformed to it (Rm 12:2) because they are of their “father the devil” (Jn 8:44), the “god of this world” (2Co 4:4) thus naturally, “walk according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Eph 2:2). And thus they do condemn heaven's witnesses as the devil's handiwork, just like the 1st century Jews did to the Biblical Christ! Oh how great is their deception!

"Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (that which is loved and sought after that is void of God)" (Matt 6:20-24).

Truly, By the Faith that is working in me through Love, I can give countless testimonies of how the love of God constrains me to be sober before persons who are not right with God; groaning, weeping, praying for them, even doing and saying things towards their reconciliation towards a Holy and Just God that are beside myself; foolish to civilized men, but seemly in light of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Seemly because Love speaks when eternity is on the line. Seemly, if it is wrought by the One who is Seemly (1Cor. 13:5). The Christ that liveth in me, the Christ that loves sinners and backslidden saints, will plead hard with them before they fly into eternity condemned. What faith do you have?

The heart and reputation of Christ, can you identify by way of salvation's miracle upon the soul of man - "a new creature" (Gal. 6:15) or do you presumptuously apply to yourself the identity of being in Christ apart from being divinely gifted with the grace and faith that would produce the heart and reputation of the Biblical Christ? It's not a sin to examine yourself:

"Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets" (Luk. 6:20-26).

You can't both save your life and love in or through the Person who is Love. You cannot keep your reputation and love like Jesus did. You will make some excuse not to "walk, even as He walked" (1Jon. 2:6) and the false teachers that entertain you will corrupt, deceive, and so utterly blind you from the Biblical Christ that when He works and wills through His people today, you will be offended, proud, and hateful like the 1st century Jews. Don't deceive yourself, do you still think you're any better than them? Do you think you are above the mind-blinding delusions of the devil that lay captive persons who do not love the Cross of Jesus Christ that they might be saved? Dear reader, please soberly consider: is your reputation, mind, ministry and life at enmity with the Work and Person of Christ who does Work and Live through His people today? And if so, are you open to the possibility that God is trying to awake you from the sleep of the dead and dying?

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates" (2Cor. 13:5-7).

To have "the faith of the Son of God" (Gal. 2:20) is synonymous with having the grace of God reigning over you by the Lord Jesus Christ that will cause you to feel His heart and will merit for and empower you to the same deeds, reputation, and like-sufferings that would follow such and abiding with this Biblical Christ:

"Do we not cry out for Revival today? It is an understatement that we NEED a Revival, but from what? In conservative Churches across the nation, there is the need! The battle against lukewarmness, carnality, passivity, and worldliness rages on! If this is the state of our Churches, then could it be possible that there is enough worldly wisdom that would make the ways of the apostles or Jesus to be so offensive that they would think them or call them reprobates if they were alive today? One of the main arguments used to verify Paul’s ministry proving that it was “of God” was that his life/ministry was marked by suffering. False and carnal Christianity avoid suffering. By adhering to worldly wisdom, they have been inhibited from seeing the way of Christ, and the greatest evidence is that their morality does not lead them to the same (or similar) suffering as the apostles and Christ. Therefore, it is worldly-wise, carnal morality.

1 Corinthians 4:8-17 ---Suffering

2 Corinthians 4:8-18 --- Suffering

2 Corinthians 6:3-10 ---Suffering

2 Corinthians 11:23-33 ---Suffering

What He Says

We need a renewal of mind in this area, or we will be conformed to this world instead of the image of Jesus Christ (Rom. 12:2). If we seek suffering, then we err. If we are absent of suffering, then we err. If we have true love with God’s wisdom, then we will suffer righteously. But all this is to say that offenses and controversy (even with the regenerate who are beset in worldly wisdom or carnality) must come, and we should be examining ourselves if we don’t have it. Many people define love to be absent from persecution.

Some would define a person to be loveless or in error because of what they say. Others stumble at how it is said. Please consider the ways of Christ in how He says what He says. Also, consider what He says. We must examine the method of witnessing and winning the lost alongside the message itself.

How He Says It

He interrupts a Feast, is uninvited and unwanted: John 7:37-53 - the “fruit” of this interruption (sword) was controversy and division. Jesus' love toward the house of God and to men who are engaged in hypocrisy is demonstrated in that He interrupts it (without apology): Mark 11:12-21. Jesus’ love in a house: He was invited to a house to eat; He reproves the man that invited Him and all the guests with him: Luke 14 (the whole chapter). He spoke things that only those whom God gave ears to hear would follow; therefore the offenses abounded, the people were in controversy, and few continued to follow Christ: John 6 (the whole chapter), see John 6:44, 60-71. See the offensiveness of the message of Jesus; nevertheless, those that are offended were usually a false planting of the devil: Matt 15:12-14. (I am not accusing you to be a false planting of the devil, but rather, deceived by worldly wisdom/carnality.)

He comes against minor doctrines that are breaking the commandments of God, and comes against them openly: Matthew 15:1-20, 23:23-24. He preaches a sermon of love. By and through love, it was a sermon of woes and condemnation to the Pharisees without any appeal of mercy or forgiveness (and this is perfect love with perfect wisdom). Why? Jesus knew that if He did not fiercely condemn this practice and people, then others would be hypnotized by their hypocrisy and so be subverted from seeing the truth: Matthew 23 (the whole chapter). A similar message is in Matthew 7. He preaches against sin: John 3:19-21. Jesus was hated, because of this “wise,” true love wherein He did expose and reprove sin as it was. He was hated because His preaching, witness, and light did uncompromisingly expose sin.

Why He Says It

He says it to save men: John 3:16-17. He knows that men get saved by falling under conviction, by being confronted by the truth, and by being reproved for their sin – NOT BY PEACE…Call for the sword: Matthew 10:32-40. Jesus' ministry of love as a sword: Luke 2:34-35. God’s desire is that lost men get lost instead of comfortable. After one is lost, then he/she can get saved: 2 Corinthians 2:14-17.

Our Calling

He is calling us to the same love, witness, and light: Ephesians 5:1-33, see Eph. 5:8-10 especially. He is calling us to the same walk as Christ: 1 John 2:6 He is calling us to the same steps as Christ suffered: 1 Peter 4:1 We should be like Him: Luke 6:40. We should be hated like Him: John 15:18-25 If we truly follow the foolish ways of Christ, then we will be like Him: 1 Cor. 15:29-34.

There are many who will say that it is not God’s will to judge or deal severely concerning sin and righteousness. But, where in the Bible does it teach that you cannot judge those who are in the Church, and by judge, I mean share with them God's word, hold them to it, warn them of it, and save them by it? Please consider the context of Matthew 7:1-5 and John 7:24, and please compare those passages with 1 Corinthians chapter 5 (the whole chapter).

We must obey the teaching that is clearly taught in those passages. The word and ways of a thrice holy God are intense, sharp, judgmental, true, loving, and saving. Please consider the word of the Holy Ghost: "And when He is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and righteousness, and of judgment" (John 16:8). This is the work of the loving Holy Spirit of God. There are many manners in which this reproof may come.

I wonder when true Christians will arise from their affinity with false Christianity, speak and appeal with interruptive urgency, and so walk in true love that is so culturally, economically, and spiritually invading that it is an unhidden city on a hill (Matt. 5:14). Oh, that men would not stay in their houses and vocalize the truth as much as would maintain a neighborhood “respect.” Wake up, American “Christianity”! Jesus Christ did not command neighborhood peace but housetop proclamation (Matt. 10:27). Oh that men would not seek to be civilized but set their hearts to be crucified (if God willed it) (see Heb. 13:13-14).

To see such men in our day following "our ways," their charge is often to wake up. Or perhaps, dear reader, your charge to me is to “wake up.” When Paul commanded the sleeping, worldly- wise, carnal Christians to “wake up”, it was a call to suffer offense, persecution, and even a “baptism of death” (1 Corinthians 15:34), but the offenses and persecutions of our lives is what has persuaded you that I am not awake. This is what has persuaded you that our work is a work of demons. Please look at how clearly Paul defines the charge “wake up.” Paul said, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.” The Corinthians were not doing righteousness like Paul; they were deceived by “evil communications” in worldly wisdom. The “good manners” that they once had were corrupted to a peaceable lifestyle with the world or worldliness (1 Cor. 15:33). That is why the former verse before 1 Cor. 15:34 is, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” What does it look like, according to Paul, to be awake - awake in righteousness? Paul said it is like a baptism of death (1 Cor. 15:29), it is “jeopardy every hour” (1 Cor. 15:30), it is a dying daily (1 Cor. 15:31), and it is a fighting with beasts (1 Cor. 15:32). Paul knew well the unavoidable struggle and grief of contention (1 Thess. 2:2) - the inevitable result of unrelenting love through boldness. Paul said that true Christianity was exemplified in his ways (1 Cor. 4:16-17). These experiences were manifestations of being awake in righteousness, thereby teaching that the absence of righteousness produces an absence of these experiences. The world should understand that “if in this life only we [Christians] have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” (1 Cor. 15:19). Few then and few now will be willing to be baptized with the baptism that Jesus was baptized with (Matt. 20:22, 1 Cor. 15:29), and most are unaware or in denial that the way of Christ is a baptism of death".

I wonder when our cultural Christianity will ever look like our Master’s Image, or when we will stop justifying ourselves for looking and walking a course that is so unlike our Master’s Image. The end of our Christianity is to be in His Image, right? It is written: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (Rom. 8:29). Consider the whole passage:

"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:29-39).

Well, there be many who bring charges against us, there be many who condemn us, there be many who say we are separated from the love of Christ, but why? Because of tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword? Nay, none of these separate us from the love of God! God has justified us, is interceding for us, and the evidence of this great love is that we are privileged to be conformed to “the Image of His Son”…and this is for God’s sake and purpose. What is His Image? “For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” It is God’s will “that no man should be moved by these afflictions,” because we should know that we are “appointed thereunto” (1 Thess. 3:3). The New Testament Christians were undergoing so much tribulation, distress, and persecution that they were accused, charged, and condemned to be separated from the love of Christ, but, on the contrary, those very experiences are the predestinated purpose of God that we would be conformed to the Image of His Son, “as a sheep to the slaughter.” Don’t you see? That is your charge to me. You are condemning me because of offenses, persecutions, and tribulations, but you are offended at the Image of Jesus Christ, not at me, if the doctrine and deeds which I am standing for are rightly interpreted and applied. You are convinced that this work is of the devil because of offenses, controversy, and persecutions; you are charging me that I am in darkness, danger, and (by fruits) separated from the love of Christ…but it was these very things that Paul said was the Image of God’s Son. He said that this is done for “Thy sake”- meaning God’s sake. It is God’s will that we are persecuted even as a sheep to the slaughter! If I am right, you are saying that the Image of God’s Son (the controversy & suffering) is the proof that our life and work is not of God’s Son.

Is it possible that “evil communications” of false prophets and carnal men have so inoculated this generation that we cannot discern good from evil and do not walk in the sufferings that the Book of God deems normal? Though our consciences scream that we need Revival, we are incoherent and proud enough to think that we can still judge our own state rightly, divide the word of God wisely, and know His will truly: yet how can we? If we need Revival (or are carnal), how can we know judgment, wisdom, and righteousness? If we are carnal, then it is predominately hidden from us (John 16:12, 1 Cor. 3:1-2, Hebrews 5:11-14) and must be taught or exemplified to us, and if we are not fearfully careful, then we will persecute the wisdom of God because it is foolish, be offended at the righteousness of God because of its weakness, and misdefine the awakenings of God as the darkness of the Devil. Jesus said: “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me” (Matt. 11:6, Luke 7:23).

In this place of rejection, Paul stood and appealed to his own congregation. In love, brokenness, prayer, and hope, he fought against their rejection of him, saying…

“Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.” (2Corinthians 13:7)

Do you believe this? The regenerate Church (the godly), even they are rejecting Paul, considering him to be reprobate. Please, as we face the same circumstances, let me plead with you all to hold us to the biblical format of trial! It echoes the same saying, "Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth" (John 7:51)? There is a biblical format of examining an elder, church, person, or work that claims to be of God in the midst of a country-wide slanderous hurricane."

Contending With the 2016 Passion Conference

Dear reader, I along with 40 plus soldiers of the cross did contended with the 2016 Passion Conference for several days. After watching several YouTube videos of past Passion events and several live-stream sermons from this years event plus engaging in several one-on-one conversations with Passion Conference staff and attenders about sin, righteousness, and judgment (see Jon. 16:8), I can speak the Truth in Love and warn you that the Holy Ghost is a million miles away from this Jeroboam Christianity.

The 2016 Passion Conference Exposed:

All throughout the centuries, people have claimed to be in the centrality of Biblical Doctrine but were greatly deceived. For example Matthew Chapter 23, the Pharisees had good enough doctrine to where Jesus said to observe and do as they say but don't do after their works because they say and do not. Jesus commended their knowledge of the scriptures but in the same chapter, the most loving man who ever lived pronounced upon them woe upon woe and did call them the following:

- Hypocrites

- Children of hell

- Blind guides

- Fools and blind

- Whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones and of all uncleaness and iniquity

- Children of them which killed the prophets

- Serpents, generation of vipers

"Search the scriptures; for in them YE THINK ye have eternal life" (Jon. 5:39)... Dear Passion Conference, this Person called Eternal Life goes deeper than a mental accent into the  doctrine of substitutionary atonement, giving your money away to humanitarian efforts with an X on your hand but the world still in your heart (don't be deceived by the David Crowder song titled "Oh Happiness". The burden of Christians in Christ is not happiness, but righteousness), and do not be deceived to think you are really having an encounter with God during those times when you lift up your soul with Christian words coupled with the lights, bass, and the exhilaration that would come from such a super charged atmosphere of a Passion Conference.

Dear Passion Conference, are you being pumped up with flesh-born hype and religious zeal only to find yourself back home weary and heavy laden with the reality that no matter how hard you want to be passionate follower of the Lamb, sin still has dominion over you having never been set free from sin by the power of God which is a Divine Miracle that happens in the soul of man that can only come as a gift from God and not of yourself - His grace, His faith and not your own.

"I was there, I was living in a viscous cycle, trying to patch myself up, trying to give me, trying to put upon my sins the band-aid Loui Giglio gave me - Passion Conference North-Dallas 2004, and it didn't work, I wasn't free from my sin. He sold me a bill of goods but I was still dead in my sins and trespasses, it never saved me".

- Jake Gardner

"They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord. Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls." (Jer. 6:14-16).

"Some years ago it was my privilege to share a room with the great Indian mystic, Sadhu Sundar Singh, and I remember a story he told us of a conversation that had with a Professor of Comparative Religions in the University of Cambridge: "Tell me," said the Professor, "What have you found in Christianity that you did not find in your old religion?" The Sadhu replied, "Professor, I found the dear Lord Jesus. "Oh, yes, I quite understand, but what particular principle or doctrine? Tell me, what new philosophy have you found in Christianity that you did not find in your old religion?" And again the Sadhu replied, "Professor, I found the dear Lord Jesus." You see, his witness was to a Person and not to a principal; to a life, and not to a philosophy - Christ was real.

- Duncan Campbell

Passion Conference, might I lovingly warn you that you are a grief to God and a mind-blinding, soul-damning peril to men. The 2016 Passion Conference was addressing the audience as genuine converts rightly related to God when the Bible teaches that few are truly saved and in the last days their will be and is a great falling away among God's remnant (2Th. 2), even likening it to the days of Noah, "wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water" (1Pet. 3:20). If we were to take the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew chapter 7 or Luke 13 seriously, the witness of "false prophets" evidenced by "evil fruit" (Matt. 7:15,18) as exposed in the videos included in this post, it would be sound to say that the fears of "many" (Matt. 7:22) who attended the Passion Conference will come to pass in that day when God shall judge the secrets of men, sentencing hypocrites to everlasting burnings if they do not bend before the Word of the Lord and break before His presence - "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matt. 7:23).

"Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment" (Mal. 2:17)?

There is a great host of professing Christians in our generation that are going to hell in droves, not for lack of knowledge on an intellectual level, but because they have a form of godliness that fortifies the deceitfulness of their own heart and appeases their conscience with a false peace - people singing about how they are unashamed of God, studying about God, doing ministry, thinking they have the eye of God, the favor of God, but their hearts are actually far from Him. How can this be?

"Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God, but the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked" (Isa. 58:2, 57:20,21). These are the "heady highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2Tim. 3:4,5,7).

When men who don't want to die to self-will, self-pleasure, self-exaltation, self-righteousness and such like ways that exemplify a person who is condemned by the Biblical definition of the world (1Jon. 2:16), they are giving heed to a lying vanity and are forsaking God's execution device. The message of the cross never becomes good news to them. They don't want their life to end. They don't want to believe that God hates their life (Psa. 5:5). They don't want to stop worshiping their false Jesus that lets them be a Christian and love the world and be at friendship with the world at the same time - "the love of the Father is not in them" (1Jon. 2:15). Thus they choose the broadway of popular Christianity instead of the strait gate that is the Biblical Christ, who is Lord indeed. Thus they never hate their life and lose it for His sake and the Gospel's. Thus they never know the power of God unto salvation. They believe they are forgiven of their sins but are not set free from their sins. They live, but not by the resurrection power. They profess, but not by the True Vine. They work, but all their produce is Christ-less and everyday they wake up and believe that God is pleased with them when really, everyday, God is angry with them and they do verily take His Name in vain (Psa. 7:11). They believe that the desire of their souls is to His Name but really the Name of God is blasphemed among the inhabitants of the earth because of their hypocrisy and it is written:

"They received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2Th. 10-12).

Those who have been crucified with Christ are risen to newness of life by the resurrection power of God which results in the new birth, a new heart, not sinless perfection but all things becoming new. Such a people who walk in this newness of life do feel God's heart more than their own. They don't have to "try harder". They must simply draw near with a true heart and yield to the One who now liveth in them, yield to what they already are - "a new creature" (2Cor. 5:17), whereby a divine, conscience and unconscience influence does ever impregnate their inner man with His will and pleasure. They do speak in the stead of Christ as ambassadors of another kingdom the Word of reconciliation - Repent. And what is the general response to Christ in Christians pleading with men to turn away from their own righteousness, to condemn their self-righteousness and turn to God's righteousness by faith, the message of the cross - you must die to live?  Pride, slander, strife, envy, murder and every evil work.

"But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness" (Matt. 6:23)!

Those in the 1st century that had good enough doctrine to observe and do, crucified the Thrice Holy God on a cross and didn't even know it! Sin is deceitful, the demons masquerade themselves as ministers of Christ and the heart is deceitful above all things. Men have not changed, the depravity of man is still the same and "the disciple is not above His Master" (Matt. 10:24,25) and "all that will live godly IN Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" (2Tim. 3:12) because Christ is still doing the same things He did in the 1st century, only in this day and time He is doing it through earthen vessels that are filled with the excellency of divine knowledge working and willing in the soul of man.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain" (Gal. 2:20).

Jesus Christ, the embodiment of perfect love and wisdom was the most hated man in His day and time and why? He knew if people were going to be saved from the pervading religious hypocrisy that was the bulwark of Satan, first century Judaism needed to be exposed that men would forsake the soul-damning traditions of men which make void the commandment of God: obey His living and active presence, in which the Bible defines as "the hearing of Faith" (Gal. 3:2) which will always be consistent with Biblical Salvation.

"The hearing of Faith", do you know by experience what this is?

God spoke to Abraham and told him to leave his home, family, friends, his life as he knew it from whence he came and to go and sojourn in a land he knew not. Abraham, by grace through faith and not of himself, obeyed the voice of God and it was accounted to him for righteousness, but the Christian Popes of the 21st century want to reduce salvation into a formula, mental ascent into the doctrine of substitutionary atonement, a "say this prayer", do this and that flesh-born tradition making void the commandment of God that is ordained for Life: "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" (Jer. 29:11). Salvation is in a Person, you must reconcile yourself to Him and not the traditions of religion (man's).

"Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him" (Acts. 5:31-32)

If you would rather rest in the superstition that is the sinner's prayer that you repeated or whatever way you decided to follow Jesus that did not bring you into the reality of forsaking all to follow Him (Luk. 14) by "the hearing of faith", you are perishing, "but unto us which are saved it (the message of the cross) is the power of God" (1Cor. 1:18).

Do you know my Jesus? Or do you fill yourself with knowledge about Him, sing songs about Him, attend a Passion Conference that stirs up your enthusiasm for a little while but ultimately leaves you dead in your sins, discontent, and without true rest for your soul because you will not come to Him by way of the Cross? It is futile to imitate Him but only to the point where it doesn't cross your will and cause you to suffer. Jesus said, "Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it" (Mar. 8:34-35).

The following quotes are from Leonard Ravenhill:

“There’s only two kinds of people in the world, those who are dead in sin and those who are dead to sin."
"Get rid of this bunkum about 'carnal Christian'. Forget it! If you're carnal, you're not saved."

"Do you think Paul finished out his days, 'Oh wretched man that I am?' He said in Romans 7, 'It's not I but sin dwelling in me.' In Galatians, he said, 'It's not I it's Christ living in me.' You can't have the indwelling Christ who is indwelling carnality - one has to get out of the way! Who preaches salvation? We're preaching forgiveness!"

“We pray that some of us may go to our own funeral tonight, and die to self, and end all the failure and all the weakness”.

"When Jesus comes for the Bride, He's not coming for every believer, I'm assured of that."

To the passionate but unconverted and every lukewarm believer: The hour has come, give God the glory and die that He might live in and through you! Dear soul, this has never been about the kind of legalism that is to reform your life and then come to Jesus or reform your life around Biblical principles apart from first reconciling yourself to the King according to His terms of peace - "enter ye in at the strait gate" (Matt. 7:13), that is so strait it will rip away all of your idols to serve the Living God, praise the Name! His terms are never a formula but by "the hearing of faith" which if followed all the way, will put you under the Authorship of His Great Pen of Salvation not to be repented off.

"And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Heb. 5:9), but "The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead" (Pro. 21:16).

"God gives His Holy Spirit not to those who long for Him, not to those who pray to Him, not to those who desire to be filled always; HE GIVES HIS SPIRIT TO THOSE WHO OBEY"!

-Hudson Taylor

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty" (2Cor. 6:17,18).

"The problem is that people bear the Christian name but act like worldlings and love the amusements and follies of the world. It is time for a division in the House of the Lord in which those for Christ go into one camp and those against Christ go into the other camp. We have been mixed together too long."

- CH Spurgeon

"Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach" (Heb. 13:13).

"To receive the crucified One as our Lord means to be despised and rejected with Him. We must bear the stigma and the reproach of the Cross of Christ. The acceptance of Christ as Lord means also the crucifixion the old life of sin and selfishness and sin.

"They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts" (Gal 5:24).

"If the crucified One is Lord of our lives, the hand that rules will be a nail-pierced hand. He, as the Caption of our Salvation, will lead us in a path of crucifixion and shame. That is what it means to accept Christ as Lord".

-James A Stewart

Passion Conference 2016, a voice does cry out to you from the wilderness of Wells TX, but will you hear it as the words of mere men or the words of God through earthen vessels preparing the way of the Lord that He might come back for a Bride that is "a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Eph. 5:27). Worthy is Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

"How often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Matt. 23:37-39).

"My Faith Has Found a Resting Place" - Salvation Testimonies of the Sincere But Deceived and Unconverted

The following post is by Jordan Fraker.
 Romans 10:2

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Dearly beloved,

This blog post is written to give testimony to God's glorious salvation in the souls of zealous yet sincerely deceived church ministers and faithful members of the calvary chapel movement. Each one had a zeal for God but were never led to the blessed rest that is only found when a man comes to be crucified with Christ.

We believe that there are those who are truly born again in the calvary chapel movement but we have great reason to believe that according to scripture many are, as we were, sincere but deceived and not truly born again.

Beloved, will you read these testimonies with a meekness? Asking the Lord, is it I?
Truly, if anyone was saved I would have thought it was me, I prayed the sinners prayer with tears and true conviction over my sins at four years old and sought to live as a christian from that time forward, I didn't drink or smoke or party or fornicate, I told people I didn't do those things because I was a christian, I signed a written vow of my life away to God when I was eighteen and left it all (or so I thought) to follow Christ, graduated one of the top of my class from calvary chapel Bible college, was spoken to many times by God, miraculously provided for many times, set free from long time bondages of lust, I wept over my sins and the love of God toward me, was even used to preach the gospel and saw men weep, but beloved...I was never crucified with Christ, I had not died at calvary. I had subtly kept my self-righteousness and did not even know it; I didn't know that all this goodness of God was meant to lead me to repentance. (For more details about how God led me to see my lost estate and the glorious difference I've found now having been saved by the true grace of God please see my video testimony that should be ready soon Lord willing).

O how deceitful is the human heart, how subtle is the flesh, (Jeremiah 17:9) how we need God to search us and try us and see if there be any wicked way in us (psalm 139:23-24) and then by His mighty grace put it to death, (Romans 6:3-7) "there the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest."

May the truly regenerate be edified and moved to glorify God, and may those whom God has indeed been striving with, but have not come to the birth (the second birth that is) recognize their estate and be empowered to go to the cross and be crucified with and by Christ that you might find rest for your wearied soul.

It truly is a work of God that no flesh can muster, no will of man can decide (John 1:13). We must come to Christ and cast ourselves at His feet and submit to Him who alone hath power to give eternal life. (Acts 5:31-32)

"Is There Not a Cause"? The Official Preface to the David Mann Burden

"And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause" (1Sam. 17:28-29)?

Is there not a cause when the hour is midnight, the Church is Lukewarm, and everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes? Is anyone awake with the burden of Jesus Christ in the last days (Matt. 18, 21:12-46, 22:1-40, 24:10-13, 25:31-46, and 26:21-75)?

Is there not a cause when we are surrounded by false prophets on every side who turn the grace of God into lasciviousness, re-invent the Biblical Word "Charity", are blind to and do not take heed to the warnings in Scripture that apply to those Saints who do not keep themselves in the love of God by the power of God, instead they bless themselves and their hearers with the promises of God that don't apply to them because they, with a presumptuous lean, press upon the promises on a page instead of, by the "hearing of faith"(Gal. 3:2), lay hold of the Substance of those promises, the Lord Jesus Christ, vital reality with Him, He is all my righteousness and "Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things" (Pro. 28:5). Those who leave off faith, mercy, and judgment hold men and brethren captive to do the work of the devil against the burden of Jesus Christ in the last days (Unity & Purity), subverting them from vital truths that are vital for continuing "in the Son and in the Father...that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming" (1Jon. 2:24,28), hence, having by the purchase of His blood and ingratiated abiding, perfect faith (Jas. 2:22), perfect strength (2Cor. 12:9), perfect love (1Jon. 4:17) and let every saint be perfected in holiness (2Cor. 7:1), for this is a matter of "oil" (Matt.  25:3), do you have Him (initially and presently)? I am not talking about subscribing to the damnable heresy of sinless perfection, but this is a matter of being a wise or foolish virgin (Matt. 25:1-13), a faithful or unfaithful servant (Matt. 25:14-30), a sheep or a goat, your eternal destiny: heaven or hell (Matt.25:31-46). The latter would rather go to hell than depart from their idolatry of Calvinism, Arminianism, and every other hell-spawned-ism that is spoiled with the rotten fruits of the Lordship of self-will, headiness, flesh-born debate, slander, and schism. God's controversy with idolatry is real my friends.

Is there not a cause when today's Remnant are more offended at reproof than the sin that your reproving? We have forgotten how Biblical love and wisdom does manifest (Lev. 19:17, Matt. 23). It's time to sharpen the remedy, follow His lead, and hope in His mercy.

Is there not a cause when Neo Calvinist garnish the sepulchers of Whitefield and Brainard but make excuses not to pursue God with all their hearts, living lives that are prayerless, powerless, and without brokenness? I speak such words with trembling lest I bring shame to His Name and I myself become a castaway, so help me God. "Happy is the man that feareth alway..." (Pro. 28:14).

Is there not a cause when God's wrath is breaking forth upon the Remnant in the form of spiritual deceptions and snares laid up for those who fortify themselves in the full armor of pride and worldly confidence? God has raised up false prophets with false doctrines to hold such to the way of rebellion and hell's torments will be far greater for those who have "known the way of righteousness" (2Pet. 2), but "if we be dead with him , we shall also live with him : If we suffer, we shall also reign with him :" and it does not matter if you don't believe you can fall from grace, "if we deny him ,he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself" (Tim. 2:11-13), hence, there is no questioning about God's faithfulness and abilities "He abideth faithful", but brethren, though inwardly regenerated by the powers of the world to come, are still tainted with the residue of depravity and do not always abide faithful to His Person to the receiving of the Holy Ghost for mortification of that which is flesh (Rom. 8:13, Jon. 15:6).

Is there not a cause when today's Uncharitable Remnant have, to protect their prosperity, pride, and ministry, joined hand in hand with our heathen persecutors, selling us to be slaves to great infamy? Only Grace has counted us worthy and may Salvation be raised up in Egypt through Joseph. God will soon shake terribly the earth... Some of you will be saved through great tribulation, others will go to buy oil but it will be too late, you will be shut out from the Kingdom of God. "Seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger"( Zep. 2:3). I love your soul, please don't be easily provoked and hate a regenerate friend who loves you enough to hold you accountable to ingratiated deeds and truths consistent with Biblical Salvation (initial and present-progressive).

Is there not a cause when a dear family who considered you as their own flesh and blood, is offended because you, by God's grace have been purged from much fear of man/being a respecter of persons (Jas. 2:9) therefore are ingraciated to walk in greater love towards them by seeking to honor the Lord (Psa. 149:9) and by loving them as you would love yourself, hence, trying their spirits (1Jon. 4:1), hearing their conversion stories by the touchstone of Scripture, grace given surrender to any conclusion, and HolyGhost witness? Doesn't Scripture say that those who are having vital reality with God in Truth "cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (Jon.3:21)?  Why is there so much thinking evil of my intentions and swiftness to being provoked (1Cor. 13:4-7)? The Jesus I know saves from worldly fear and being swift to speak, swift to rebel, and be ye certain, the hypocrites shield of unbelief won't work on judgment day! Such persons do not have the Prince of peace ruling and reigning in their hearts (Psa. 119:165) and if you are not BURDENED about true and false conversion, you are not God's man (Jer.23:22)... Truly, when did it become criminal to, with peace and goodwill, "prove all things" (1Th. 5:21)? Have I become your enemy by judging "not according to the appearance, but [judging] righteous judgment" (Jon. 5:30, 7:17, 7:24, 7:51)? Charity is not an agenda, He is a sin reproving, repelling, enemy of darkness to bring many backslidden sons back to walking in the Light and under the blood (1Jon. 1:5-7). God is not willing that any of His beloved perish in their prison house of carnality and worldly wisdom. Tis midnight and the Savior calls but all idolaters basically beg you to leave them shackled in their sins and to take away the Key to their responsibility to obey (Jon. 3:19-21), and do lay down and fall asleep again in their self-established kingdom that will soon be destroyed by the fire of the Almighty, May God have mercy.

Is there not a cause when this same family anathemitizes you because you are no longer a Calvinist, loading you and your people with slanders world wide, corrupting the morals of men and brethren (even David Mann), turning them to reject you from their homes, even to doing a 3 hour radio show crucifying you and your people with "earthly, sensual, and devilish wisdom" (Jas. 3:13-18)? None of us were invited to give our side of the story but if God has forgiven us in Truth, His love constrains us to forgive and love you still, though you murder us with your words, I give myself to prayer on your behalf.

Is there not a cause when leaders of religious communities get together and make a website against your Church yet deny that they have part in it and are caught in a lie about it (Matt. 6:23) and do, save God in His mercy does move upon them to do some sincere searching, bind their followers to a legacy of "folly and shame" (Pro. 18:13)?

Is there not a cause when there is more justice in flesh-born civil courts of law than between brothers and sisters of the faith today? "Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work" (Jon. 7:51, Jas. 3:13-18).

"He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others; Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways: So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted" (Job 34:26-28).

The Lord has heard the cry of the poor, who are rich in affliction, blessed with persecution and "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up" (Psa. 27:10).

I am sensible that this burden will bring out the scorners who "seeketh wisdom but findeth it not" (Pro. 14:6), for they are perverse in their ways, worshipping the idea of how they will not bow down to the Lordship of the Living Christ, thus the same deception that has come upon the 1st century Religious system has come upon those who have not fled (Rev. 18:4) from the 21st century religious system "(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway" (Rom. 11:8-10).

This burden truly is a cross to me, I would of fainted and drowned in worldly sorrow if I didn't see these things in the Scriptures, but as I yield, the Spirit of God does rain upon me with His presence, bringing moisture to my soul, filling my entire citadel with how He feels, what He thinks, and what He desires to say to His backslidden Remnant. I desire mercy for everyman.

It is likely that most everyone who will read this will say that they love God, but dear reader, what does God say about your love? With many tears, fastings, and groanings, I bring to you God's mercy call and warning for a generation who's love has waxed cold:

Why God Killed David Mann OR Rejection, Reprobation, and the RighteousJudgment of God

The following is written by David Mann's dear friend and brother in the Lord.
To the Remnant scattered on the hills and those that "remain in the congregation of the dead" (Pro. 21:16), whom I love and for whom Christ died, this message is for you and if any false brethren read this, may the Lord use it to turn you away from your lower case god that you might know the One True God by grace through faith and not by you accepting and believing the Biblical Christ apart from the Holy Ghost. As the final grains of sand trickle down the hourglass of time, I am ready to live and die for you, so help me God...

"And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end (but he that will turn away from false prophets and not be offended and love the brethren, even at the expense of their reputation, ministry, and goods), the same shall be saved (Matt. 24:10-13)".

Verily, verily, there is no one that is above being overtaken by the deceptions that are happening in these last days. Slander drops never cease to keep on falling and there is so much earthly, sensual, and devilish wisdom circumferencing the Remnant like a whirlwind that it is causing Love to be with dissimulation, and is causing me to look to Christ, in which I do feel His eyes look upon me and am quickened to examine my own self with all gravity and sincerity, abhorring that which is evil; cleaving to that which is good that I be not tainted with the iniquity abounding. I care about how God feels, dear reader, do you? My heart's desire is for the King and His glory, that all of Israel be right with God, unified, and endure to the end, but if the foundation be destroyed (which is “Charity” (1Cor. 13:4-7)), what can the righteous do? Has your love waxed cold dear reader? If you're a saint whose heart is hard, may God have mercy and grant you true brokenness to a renewing of your first humility.

The Doctrine of Biblical Judgment has grown itself wings and has, by and large, flown out of sight from today’s professors. Experience tells me that many today think it's an option to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith they have been called (Eph. 4:1-6) and are much too hasty to anathematize one another, justifying pride and presumption and therefore have “omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith” (Matt. 23:23). They do fearlessly mistreat and misjudge true brethren and it is written “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matt. 25:40). This matter is of great eternal significance (Matt. 25:41). Be not like the “last days scoffers” (2Pt. 3:3), who do scorn the sermon Jesus preached on the last days (Matthew Chapters 24 and 25). Jesus majored on the doctrine of unity and purity and did stress of its vital necessity in the last days by preaching it in parables (Matthew chapters 18, 21 and 22) and did prophesy that many would despise and disobey this doctrine in the last days (Matthew Chapter 24). In chapter 25, He is no longer speaking darkly, but plainly, beloved, this issue is a matter of life and death, heaven and hell. By Chapter 26, the "being offended", "hatred", and "betrayal” amongst the saints had already begun... Oh would you hear it? The Lord Jesus Christ is preaching this burden six times in six consecutive chapters (ch. 18 (minus ch. 19), 21:12-46, 22:1-40, Matt. 24:10-13, Matt. 25:31-46 and 26: 21-75)... will you have ears to hear, or will you disannul this burden of the Lord for the idolatry of evangelism, sect religion, or something else?

The Pharisees were overtaken in contra-Biblical traditions of men that did greatly influence them to judge by appearance and it was to their condemnation, eternal woe and everlasting shame, and it is written, “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him” (Pro. 18:13). Dearly beloved, this is no light matter, do a word study, with the Author, on the Biblical word “shame” and its synonyms. “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things” (Pro. 28:4,5). Sincerity is a stranger to this untoward generation, brethren, it ought not to be... What is it going to take for the Remnant to lovingly fear God, and fear God in one another and get back to judging “righteous judgment” (Jon. 7:24), that today's Christians might, in Christ, discern if a person, work, or ministry has been born of the flesh or born of the Spirit? Is one of us going to have to die? Is God really that Holy?

"When thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness (Isa. 26.9)"

How Do You Know David Man?

When David and I first met, we were both students at the Calvary Chapel Bible College. During our initial meeting, David began to unfold his salvation testimony to me. It wasn't the typical, I-follow-Chuck-Smith's-gospel, “I repeated a superstitious prayer and got "saved" testimony", rather, God was evidently drawing David by His irresistible grace, destroying his satanic “I wills”, yea even effectually by His power, to the end: David's personal crucifixion with Christ. The Biblical King Jesus, in truth, initially, was brother David's Lord. I do thank the Lord for this dear brother. I remember many prayer meetings we had together where we did break through to God. Unlike most I knew at the time, David had a genuine burden for souls.

“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Pro. 17:17). David loved me, therefore did reprove my sin, was often charitable with his goods toward me, and was instrumental in persuading me to turn away from the heresy of the pre-tribulation rapture. Though I lived in Southern California and he in Las Vegas, I would often drive the 4 hours to see him and preach on the strip, and we did street preach all over the world together, Germany, England, and almost every state in America. I, along with the rest of you that know him, have mourned over his sudden death.

The David Mann Testimony

These units of speech, by the mercies of God, will not be battered by falsehood and flattery, but with His all-sufficiency, Truth and Grace, though in my flesh dwell none of these, He alone is Good, blessed be God. His Name is my treasure, and I shall “publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he” (Deu. 32:3,4).

The “last days scoffers” (2Pt. 3:3) will think evil of me, saying “I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart” (1Sa. 17:28), but I so solemnly declare that if I tread this burden with the mud of mischief then let those that hate me “persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust” (Psa. 7:5). But if my heart be pure, my hands clean, and the sole of my foot does indeed stand upon The Rock that is Truth and Life then may the Lord awake me to the judgment that He has commanded, and in mercy, use this poor lisping stammering tongue to forward the meek of this earth to “Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph” (Amos 5:14-15).

“The ministry of reconciliation” is the ministry that God gave me (2Cor. 5), and if I am in Truth standing in Christ's stead and speak to you such things to your great displeasure, it is because you hate God. Truth is a Person, if you deny Truth, you deny Him. If you don't care about your sins, you don't care about righteousness; and if you don't care about righteousness, you don't care about God. Now the Spirit expressly does speak a most sobering Truth through the following correspondence David and I had on Facebook right before his death. Anything in the following messages that is in brackets was added by me after March of 2012. Please prepare your heart. The following is a FB correspondence David and I had on the 13th of March to the 27th of March, 2012. He who hath ears, let him hear...

March 13 -
Masao Gonthier:

Lord willing, my wife and I are going on a honeymoon/mission trip for a couple of weeks in Vegas. Lord willing we will arrive April 1st. Hope we can hook up and do some preaching. I have a new phone and don't have your number, my new one is ***-***-**** Also, you're welcome to come to the wedding as well, it's in Texas, March 29th. Love you bro.

March 13 -
David Mann:

Masao! That is wonderful news. I am happy for you. I will not be able to attend the wedding, but I would love to see you when you come to Vegas. My cell phone is ***-***-****. It would be wonderful to preach with you again. I still cherish our time across the United States and will so for the rest of this life.

You and I both know that we have parted ways theologically speaking on many core doctrines. As long as we can keep Jesus Christ and Him crucified and salvation by grace through faith as that which unites us, I will gladly join you in preaching when you come to Las Vegas. Give me details of your stay here in Vegas when you come and we will connect. I love you as well brother.

“You and I both know that we have parted ways theologically speaking on many core doctrines...”

David is referring to the Doctrine of Biblical Judgment:

The other point of “division” is that I no longer would say “I am of” Calvin (1Co 3:3,4). The Lord effectually uprooted my idolatry of the theological framework known as TULIP and planted me, not in the sinking sand of Arminianism but upon the Rock of the Apostle's Doctrine! “How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word! What more can He say than to you He hath said, To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled”? Our burden for today's Calvinist:

March 21 -
Masao Gonthier:

Thank u for the well wishes and yes I would love to preach with you again as well. Oh and 2009, summer road trip, forever fresh, praise the Lord, I wouldn't trade such memories for a whole world of worlds, gold.

Amen, Agreed.

Lord willing, the wife and I should be arriving in Vegas April 1st. Would you prayerfully consider hosting us the 1st and 2nd of April? We would leave on the morning of the 3rd.

March 26 -
David Mann:

Masao, I prayed a lot over this, but I am not going to host you in my home this time. It pains me to make this decision and it was a very difficult decision to make, but it is one, in the fear of the Lord, that I am convicted to stand upon. I believe you have embraced harmful and dangerous doctrines. If I had children, I would not trust you to speak to them about the bible. In hearing how the events took place in Donna's home, I could not trust you in my own [Satan found a whisperer and “A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends” (Pro 16:28). Dear Donna Hebert, your tongue has been set on fire of hell and your hands are red with the blood of the saints, may the Lord have mercy on you, I desire that with all my heart. You don't have to go to hell for your sins, repent of your lies and walk in the Light (1Jn 1:5-7). Charity would write a rebuttal exposing your darkness and shame that "the simple will be aware" (Pro 19:25, 1Co 13:6,7), yet Charity would also forbear (1Co 13:4,5). By His grace, I shall remain in Charity (Christ), and commit your soul to God. It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for your slandering this day, as it is written, “He shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment (Jas. 2:13)].

I am sorry if this grieves you and I wish it never had to come to this, but I stand upon my conviction and pray that you will leave the doctrines you have come to embrace that has caused the loss of nearly all of your old brothers and sisters in the faith [Many of the 1st century Corinthian regenerate were overtaken in worldly wisdom and carnality and thus much wisdom, righteousness, and judgment was hid from them and so they did accuse Paul of being a reprobate in which he replies: "Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day... Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me [whose ways are] in Christ" (1Co 4:8-13,16-17. See also, 2Co 6:3-10, 11:23-33)]. If you do come to Las Vegas on those days, I am still willing to get together with you while you are here if possible. I have both work and church on those days, but if we can work the timing out, I will meet you wherever you like.

March 27 -
Masao Gonthier:

Dear brother David, might I entreat you to be a saint to this saint. Are you not perfected in love, (1Jon. 4:18) and endued with the wisdom from above that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (Jas. 3:17)? Surely you are a doer of the Word and not a hearer only, (Jas. 1:22) swift to hear (Jas. 1:19), not answering a matter before you hear it (Pro. 18:13), not judging by appearance (Jon. 7:24), Bearing, believing, hoping, and enduring all things (1Cor. 13:7). Beloved, how would you like to be judged?

I know that all manner of malicious slander has reached your ears, and trust the grace of God is empowering you to resist the devil, do righteous judgment, and speak the truth in love. Let us avoid folly and shame, grieving the Holy Spirit by a conduct of life contrary to the Scriptures, deceiving ourselves. Because of the leaven of malice and insincerity that pervaded every city in the Kingdom of Saul, I could scarcely count on both hands the people I could trust, brother you were one of them. I miss you dearly and hope we can connect.

Calvinist think we are either all out Pelagians or Semi Pelagians, Armenians think we believe another jesus, cults such as Calvary Chapel, think that we believe that there is righteousness through the keeping of the law...I assure you these abominable allegations are utterly false. Almost nobody is willing to come to the light (Jon. 3:19-21), and nearly all believe the grace of God would give them license to tell us what we believe before they even hear what we really believe, the result: Confusion and every evil work. This wisdom is not from the Father of Lights but such as the devil breathes into the mind, an absolute disgust and disgrace to the thrice Holy God of Scripture and needs to stop.

Verily, the Bible says there is no fear of condemnation to somebody who is in Christ (1Jon. 4:18). I believe you have by revelation, received the grace of God that brings salvation that is teaching you to deny such ungodliness (Tit. 2:11-15). I trust somebody with such a high view of God, who understands something of His sovereign grace, will be able, by grace, to trust and obey Him with pure motive (please read Matt. 18:15-35, Gal. 6:1) and lean on His everlasting arms. “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect” (Rom. 8:33)? “The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace ( a pure and holy peace by the precepts of Scripture and not by ones feelings, tradition, own understanding, etc.)” (Jas. 3:18). The fear of man brings a snare. Might I remind you dear brother, that we are not they who seek to please men, for if we seek to please men, we would not be servants of God (Gal. 1:10). Jesus prayed that we would be one (Jon. 17:11).

The light of the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus has been shed abroad in my heart, and am willing to come to the light that my deeds may be made manifest that they are wrought in God. I am ready to come to the light that we might have fellowship (1Jon. 1:5-7). I am willing to receive the engrafted Word with meekness, by His grace, that I might humble myself, confess sin and forsake any sin that would find me out by the Light of His Word (Isa. 8:20). Verily, there is flesh in me that the Lord needs to deal with, and O how I desire continual cleansing that I might see Jesus more clearly! Truly, I am a worm and no man, wretched, yet, O how I thank the dear Lord my God who is faithful to reveal His Son to me everyday, causing my path to shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.

I trust, that the fiery darts will soon be quenched, faith is swelling, my heart is inditing a good matter. Lord willing I will call you soon.

Like I said, I believe you're a brother, therefore this disunity cannot persist, for we know that he that sinneth hath neither seen God or known Him (1Jon. 3:6) and that he that hateth his brother is a murdered and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. Christ in me loves you David Mann. Still, earnestly desiring to see you face to face.
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all (Eph 4:1-6).”

March 27 -
David Mann:

Masao, a day may come when we are together in heaven rejoicing in God our savior with no care or concern for anything that happened in this world other than the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. But just as Paul and Barnabas split up over their disagreement, so must I split up with you. We will go our own ways and the Lord will judge between you and I on that great day. Goodbye Masao [“Christianity is not, “Let’s just agree to disagree and go our separate ways,” but real Christianity is, “I will shed my blood for you!” - Rick Trudeau]

I pray that you will be filled with inexpressible joy in Christ. I pray God will give you wisdom in all the decisions you make in life. I hope your marriage will fully demonstrate the gospel of Christ as you love your wife as Christ loved the church. I hope you will come to be able to count on more than one hand those whom you trust outside of Texas. I pray for your witness, that your speech will be filled with salt and grace. I pray you will receive vast riches in glory for the life you lived here on earth. I pray that you will become a servant of all, becoming great in the kingdom of God. I pray you will abound in mercy just as God has been merciful to you. That you would love God with all your heart and others as yourself. I love you brother. I will hold the cross country trip, Germany, London, and every other place we have gone and labored together as precious.

Grace, Mercy, and Peace

Being betrayed and hated by brethren: I don't think I will ever recover from it... yet God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of my Lord, who was a threat to the bulwarks of the popular religion of His day and so they crucified Him as an evil man because of slander.

The night I received David's last message to me, I became grieved beyond measure, my whole heart and body becoming faint, I had no strength to respond. “Goodbye Masao”... How can someone who claims to have “fellowship with him” (1Jon. 1:6), who saith he is “in the light” and was cleansed by “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son” (1Jon. 1:7) be so contrary to 1Cor. 13:4-7? “How dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth” (1Jon. 3:17,18).
Who Hath Wrought And Done It?
A terrible sore doth smart in my soul in light of God's justice shattering wrath that did break forth on David Mann, who died in a car crash, March 29th, 2012. “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive” (Deu. 32:39). “Unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death” (Psa. 68:20). The Lord, “worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” (Eph. 1:11).

March 29th, 2012, was the same day my wife and I got married. The Lord was at my wedding in terrible power, greatly moving upon 2 of my Calvinist friends who attended. I believe if David would have came to the wedding, God would have reconciled him to the centrality of Charity again by the Lord's exceedingly great desire for His remnant to be unified and purified in these last days.
"The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy (Matt. 22:1-8)."

“Little children, keep yourselves from idols” (1Jon. 5:21), for none of us are above the sins of David Mann, who made a covenant with his reputation and the party of Calvinism, who sought to defend it at any cost, even by embracing slander to justify himself and deny the cross of following peace with His holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: the love of the Father is not in him (Heb. 12:14, 1Jon. 2:15). Division is a mark of carnality, yet spiritual men have grace to be unified:

“I think of James Renwick and Alexander Peden, two of the faithful and beloved Scottish Covenanters. Alexander (called “the prophet of the Covenant”) was a dear man of God; however, he eventually forsook James Renwick, (called “The Last Scottish Martyr"). Yet, before Peden’s death he was reconciled to Renwick. Why was James forsaken? The lies were so numerous and reputed, Peden was beguiled to believe their report. Here is the event of their reconciliation just before Peden died:
“He said to James Wilson, that from the time he drank in these false reports, and followed these unhappy advices, it had not been with him as formerly; and when he was a-dying, he sent for Mr Renwick, who hasted to him and found him lying in very low circumstances, overgrown with hair, and few to take care of him, as he never took much care of his body, and seldom unclothed himself, or went to bed. When Mr James came in, he raised himself upon his bed, leaning upon his elbow with his head upon his hand, and said, “Sir, are ye the Mr James Renwick that there is so much noise about?” He answered, “Father, my name is James Renwick; but I have given the world no ground to make any noise about me; for I have espoused no new principle or practice, but what our Reformers and Covenanters maintained.” “Well, sir,” said Mr. Peden, “turn about your back,” which he did in his condescending temper. Mr. Peden said, “I think your legs too small, and your shoulders too narrow, to take on the whole Church of Scotland on your back; sit down, sir, and give me an account of your conversion, and of your call to the ministry, of your principles, and the grounds of your taking such singular courses, in withdrawing from all other ministers;” which Mr. Renwick did in a distinct manner; of the Lord’s way of dealing with him from his infancy, and of their mornings successive in some retired place in the King’s Park, where he used to frequent before he went abroad, where he got very signal manifestations and confirmations of his call to the ministry, and got the same renewed in Holland a little before he came off; with a distinct short account of his grounds upon which he contended against tyranny and defections, and kept up an active testimony against all the evils of the day. When ended, Mr. Peden said, “ye have answered me to my soul’s satisfaction, and I am very sorry that I have believed any such ill reports of you, which have not only quenched my love to you, and marred my sympathy with you, but made me express myself too bitterly against you, for which I have sadly smarted. But, sir, ere you go you must pray for me, for I am old, and going to leave the world;” which he did with more than ordinary enlargement; when ended, he took him by the hand, and drew nigh to him, and kissed him and said, “Sir, I find you a faithful servant to your Master; go on in a single dependence upon the Lord, and ye will win honestly through and cleanly off the stage, when many others that hold their head high will fall and lie in the mire, and make foul hands and garments”; then prayed, that the Lord might spirit, strengthen, support and comfort him in all duties and difficulties."

A short document from the most persecuted Church in America:

You know you have strayed from the Apostle's Doctrine when you can justify judging “any man, before it [the law] hear him, and know what he doeth” (Jon. 7:51, Acts 21:19-20, Acts 15:12, Gal. 2:9, 2:7, 1:18).

Calvinism is an idol to many and the religious system of the 1st century Jews was such an idol to them that they sought to defend it by any means necessary, even slander, the very sin that put Christ on the Cross! The Lord bears witness to you that the spiritual deception that had come upon the 1st century Jews has come upon many of the 21st century regenerate. “Who hath known the mind of the Lord” (I Cor. 2:6)? Those who do, do not crucify Christ in Christians (1Cor. 2:8).
“Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates (2Cor. 13:7).”

Read Matthew chapter 23, many of those woes are talking about David and any those who discontinue from the Son (I Jon. 2:24)... but if you read a couple of chapters later Jesus Christ is dying on the Cross for them, begging God to forgive them because they were so overtaken in spiritual darkness they knew not they were crucifying the Prince of Glory! This is the Christ that “liveth in me” (Gal. 2:20).
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen (Rev 1:7).”
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matt 25:40,41).”

I would seal my testimony with my own blood for you all if it could somehow cause you to obtain, keep, and die with His Love (1Cor. 13:4-7) in your hearts. God is witness how I have prayed to be a Samson, that God would get more glory through my death than through my life, that my early martyrdom would be used of God to destroy the works of the devil that are holding men captive to do the devil's work against the burden of the Lord for the Remnant in the Last Days: Unity and Purity (ch 18, 21:12-46, 22:1-40, Matt. 24:10-13, Matt. 25:31-46, 26:21-75 ).

You may think the Church of Wells has an unfounded obsession with persecution (2Tim. 3:12) but God has simply been purging us from the worldly wisdom and carnality that would keep a people from entering into Biblical normality (1Cor. 4:8-13,16-17, 2Cor. 6:3-10, 11:23-33):
(Please take a few moments to watch this false-christianity shattering video): “Back to the New Testament
Dearly beloved, mark my words, the soon coming apocalyptic chaos and calamity that will break forth upon western society will render all your carnality and worldly wisdom as foolishness. Ye who deny the Cross, sow to the flesh, and persecute God's prophets, do you honestly think you will stand in the evil day? God is faithful and does provide you this day with a way of escape: “flee from idolatry” (1Co 10:14).

"I sometimes wonder when persecution really comes, how many of you will stand the test? Will we have what it takes? You can't love theology, you can't love a creed, you can only love a living person which is Jesus Christ."
- Leonard Ravenhill

Everyone who reads this will say that they love God, but what does God say about your love? The Bible says if you don't love the brethren, you don't love God, that He has drawn a line in the sand and if you are not a friend of His friends, you will not be His friend on judgment day.

David defiled himself with his own works and went a whoring after the man inspired theological framework that is TULIP to the believing the lie of the devil, “Ye shall not surely die” (Gen. 3:4). The theological fallacy of unconditional eternal security did embolden David to play the Cain and it is written, “Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance” (Psa. 106:40), and again, “Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain” (Jud. 11).
“Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after (1Tim 5:24).”
Right now David Mann's never-dying soul is burning in a Lake of Fire without time. This is a hard word to swallow, I was in denial of this for about 2 months after his death. I thought I had the possibility that David went to hell on the altar but it wasn't until I truly did, was I able to have ears to hear the decree from heaven: “He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him” (1Jon. 3:14,15).

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes” (1Jon. 2:9-11).

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also” (1Jon. 4:20,21).

“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” (1Jon. 2:4,5).

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned” (Jon. 15:1-6).

Those that go “out from us” (1Jon. 2:18-19) are those who can no longer hear, understand, and submit to the Lordship of Christ in their walk (1Jon. 4:5-6, Matt. 13:15) and are thus “no more worthy to be called [God's] son” (Luk. 15:19), nor should he be “called a brother” (1Cor. 5:11), but rather a “heathen” or “publican” (Matt. 18:17), because the backslider in heart is brought under the heavy yoke of his own ways again. Such are to be “taken away” (1Cor. 5:2), “purge[d] out” (1Cor. 5:7), and “put away” (1Cor. 5:13) for remedial purposes (1Cor. 5:5).

“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming” (1Jon. 2:24-28).

Let God be justified and every false prophet reproved, humbled, and broken and be found in His Son at His second coming. Brethren, if God could give you a revelation of the brevity of time and make you feel the weight of eternity with the sound sense of the sobriety that will be had on judgment day, sin and compromise will seem UTTERLY foolish. It matters not who you are or how long you have been saved “if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear” (1Pet. 1:17).

“The world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1Jon. 2:17).

David died that those who have forsaken Charity might live. God making an ensample out of David Mann will work out for the good of those who love and fear Him, as it is written, "And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things" (Acts 5:11).
A Final Plea To Today's Uncharitable Remnant

To those that bless themselves in their deceitful hearts, saying, "I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven” (Deu. 29:19,20), but they that keep charity shall not defile their garments; and shall walk with Him in white: “for they are worthy” (Rev. 3:4) and “the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Rev. 3:5,6).

Grace does mourn for those men and brethren who will not surrender to Charity (Christ). Though they be zealous to evangelize in front of abortion clinics, wear modest clothing, listen to Paul Washer, and are willing to be martyred, will, if they don't forgive from the heart their brethren, “fail of the grace of God” (Heb. 12:15), and thus will wake up in hell, for it is written, “...though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing” (1Cor. 13:3). Many Brethren are not and will not be rooted and grounded in Biblical Love (1Cor. 13:4-7), forsaking the True Vine to go after the broken cisterns of earthly, sensual, and devilish wisdom (Jas. 3:13-18), and hell's prophets do hold them in bondage to it (Matt. 24:11, 2Pet. 2:19), and therefore in the evil day “shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another” (Matt. 24:10), and they shall say to the Lord Jesus on that day, “When were we offended at thee? When did we hate Thee and betray Thee”? “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matt. 25:40-46).

Beloved Remnant, this is seriously serious. Out of the 10 ten virgins, “five of them were wise, and five were foolish” (Matt. 25:2). Out of the 7 Churches in the book of Revelation, 5 were blamable, and only 2 had kept His Word and had not denied His Name, and it is written, “The longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water” (1Pet. 3:20).

God's bride in this last generation is by and large not ready to be “found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2Pet. 3:14), and if His people do not awake they will, by and by, be saying on that day, “Lord, Lord, open to us” (Matt. 25:12), and He shall reply, “I know you not thou wicked and slothful servant, cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matt. 25:12,26,30). “But he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1Jon. 2:17), “that [Christ] might present it...” (yea, even to this world in this last generation) “... to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Eph. 5:27).

"When Jesus comes for the Bride, He's not coming for every believer, I'm assured of that."
- Leonard Ravenhill

The time to get serious with God is today. Let no man deceive you with vain words, God is not coming back for a spotted Bride that is committing Spiritual adultery with “all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1Jon. 2:16). Don't be deceived, the Love of the Father is not in you and you do not have His love for the brethren and have put off the “wedding garment” (Matt. 22:1-40) and have put on “the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts”, and are positionally “the enemy of God” (Eph. 4:22, Eph. 5:1-6, Jas. 4:4). Get real with God and He will be real with you (Jas. 4:1-10). Forgive any ought you have with men (from the heart) and He will forgive you (Matt. 6:14,15). Don't justify yourself by falsely accusing me of having bitterness towards David Mann. Proud persons are drunk with desire to justify themselves, loving and making lies, may God have mercy.

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not  in us” (1Jon. 1:6-10).
